The final round of our 2011 SuperAm series in happening this Sunday (1/15), and the winner will be receiving a sponsored entry into the 2012 season of TD ProAm. It’s that time of year again! Time for TD’s SuperAm Series.
TD SuperAM is Norcal’s premier beginner drift competition series! If you love to drift but haven’t tried drifting in a competitive arena, this is a perfect series to start with.
Four rounds of single-run comp action beginning in September and ending in December will seed 16 drivers for the final round in January! (final round date TBA).
The winner of this year’s TD SuperAm series will win a free entry to TD ProAm 2012!

As we’re sure you already know, all 3 TD ProAm judges are licensed Formula Drift pro drifters. 2 of them are currently touring the country participating in the series, and we thought it would be nice to share some of the epic pictures that have been captured of them at the past few rounds. Hey Folks, I know you’ve all been patiently waiting for info about our Gymkhana event coming up this weekend, so here it is!
The event will be held this Sunday (3/27) on the regular TD Drift-Pad at Thunderhill Raceway (5250 hwy162 willows, ca 95988)
The course will consist of cones arranged in a hybrid drift/autocross/skills test fashion, featuring 360′s, slaloms, gates, and even a reverse-to-forward J-turn.
Competition format will be similar to autocross, with cars competing against the clock in classes based on drive-type and modification level.
If you’re worried about this competition being too serious for you, worry not! This is our very first one, so we’ll be adjusting things as we go along to make the event be as fun as possible, and include as much run time as possible.
Again, this is our first time doing this type of event, and especially since it’s less than a week away, we’re putting it up at an introductory price of $75. FWD, AWD, and RWD welcome!
